Grant Application Process
This guide outlines how to move from discovering a funding opportunity to submitting a complete grant application.1. Discovery to Pipeline
- Search: Use the Grant Discovery module to search through the global database of funding opportunities.
- Shortlisting: Click “Add to Pipeline” to move an opportunity into your internal tracking system.
- Enrichment: GrantMaster’s AI can automatically extract key deadlines and requirements from the opportunity URL or document.
2. Proposal Preparation
- The Application Workspace: Found under Grant Application, this is where your team collaborates on the proposal.
- AI-Assisted Writing: Use the Grant Writer AI tool to generate drafts for specific sections (Executive Summary, Methodology, etc.) based on your organization’s past successful grants.
- Document Management: Attach required documents (Statutes, Annual Reports) directly to the application from your Document Library.
3. Review & Submission
- Internal Review: Use the Workflow system to route the proposal for internal sign-off by your director or board.
- Compliance Check: Run the AI Compliance Check to ensure your proposal matches all funder-specific requirements and formatting rules.
- Submission Tracking: Mark the application as “Submitted” and record the submission date and reference number.
4. Outcome Tracking
- Won/Lost: Update the stage in your Grant Pipeline.
- Conversion: If won, click “Convert to Active Grant” to automatically set up the post-award tracking structure (Reporting dates, Budget lines).
